Health and Safety
At Inspirati, the health, safety and wellbeing of everyone we work with is a fundamental priority. We are committed to creating safe, inclusive and supportive environments for participants, partners, staff and associates across all our activities.
Our commitment
We take a proactive and responsible approach to health and safety and aim to:
- Provide safe learning and working environments
- Minimise risk through careful planning and risk assessment
- Promote physical, emotional and psychological wellbeing
- Meet our legal obligations under relevant UK health and safety legislation
- Foster a culture where safety is shared, understood and respected by all
How we manage health and safety
To support this commitment, we:
- Carry out appropriate risk assessments for programmes, events and activities
- Ensure facilitators and associates are suitably qualified, briefed and supported
- Adapt delivery to meet the needs of participants, including accessibility and wellbeing considerations
- Follow clear procedures for incident reporting and safeguarding concerns
- Work in partnership with venues and organisations to ensure shared responsibilities are understood
Wellbeing and psychological safety
Given the reflective and developmental nature of our work, we place particular emphasis on psychological safety. Our facilitators create respectful, confidential spaces where participants feel able to engage at their own pace. Participation is always voluntary, and individuals are encouraged to take responsibility for their own wellbeing.
Shared responsibility
Health and safety is a collective responsibility. We ask participants, partners and associates to:
- Take reasonable care of themselves and others
- Follow guidance provided during activities
- Raise any concerns promptly so they can be addressed
Continuous improvement
We regularly review our health and safety practices to ensure they remain effective, proportionate and aligned with best practice.
