NEW LEADERSHIP TEAM DEVELOPMENT

Enlightenment – NHS HEE Midlands approached Inspirati to support the formation of a new team of Senior Leaders covering a number of areas of the Midlands.

Endeavour – To further support the formation of this new team, a number of exercises were undertaken to broaden the understanding of individuals own personality traits, drivers and differences to understand and appreciate how these could/would be perceived by others. We also further developed understanding around emotional intelligence and positive approaches to collaborative working and achieving goals.

Effect – Following programme delivery, an immediate positive difference in approach, atmosphere and communication style was seen across all team members. The team implanted strategies to build a cohesive reporting structure and team framework. Our relationship continues with further discussions continuing for our next piece of work to undertaken with this team in early 2021

FEMALE ADVANCEMENT

Enlightenment – Working with a Utility Contractor, we were asked to help build delegates personal confidence and professional leadership behaviours to reduce negative emotional responses in what was perceived as a predominantly male environment.

Endeavour – A 3-day training intervention (over a period of 2 months) was designed drawing on the dynamics of a wolf pack and in particular, alpha female behaviour. Exercises and discussions then cross referred and compared this behaviour to the characteristics of today’s successful female leaders in industry. Delegates discovered how the alpha female plays a pivotal role in every pack of wolves and how best to utilise these strengths to the widest benefit of the pack.

Effect – Delegates gained an in-depth appreciation which enabled female leaders to adjust their own behaviours, build resilience and create transitional skills beneficial for both the individual and the organisation to achieve desired results and impact. Delegates became aware of their own personality character traits and the power of responsible coaching in the workplace and a wider cultural change piece was achieved.

TEAM LEADERSHIP

Enlightenment – A client facing 24/7 organisation wanted to achieve greater collaboration across multiple locations and enhance partnership working and the service provided to clients.

Endeavour – 2 x 2-day training interventions were designed, the key focus was to introduce delegates to easily identifiable connectivity techniques to support self-awareness, behaviours and traits of others enabling good communication strategies. Understanding difference between team members. De Bono’s 6 Thinking Hats© methodology was explored by delegates to work through focused thinking to increase team effectiveness.

Effect – All delegates developed a unified code of practice and conduct that was implemented across the business. By using the learning from the “Hats” a more forward thinking, innovative and supportive culture emerged leading to an enhanced customer centric environment.
